In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic the Portland 3D Printing Community (Portland 3D Printing Lab ) worked to produce PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) components for face-shields and masks that were donated to medical practices throughout Oregon and Southern Washington. These were used by many doctors and nurses.
APD contributed many print-builds to this effort.
